Our job this year is to curate the best possible mix of interviews, voxpop, and insightful comments and put it into a series of three amazing live Radio broadcasts from the show-floor that gets broadcast live. You can interact with us in real-time, comment on the show, get a mention and engage in discussion during one of our Phone-Ins.
Last time at BETT2022, we produced over 14 hours of Live Radio! Guests included, Lord Jim Knight, Al Kingsley, Sue Atkins, Prof. Stephen Heppell, Gemma Oaten, Maria Wojciechowska-Caneda, John Samuel, Children from Primrose Hill Radio, Birchwood Beats, Maidwell Primary School and many many more …

Workshops & Projects
Russell will host a Live Radio Show or embark on a project for a series of Live Shows using bespoke jingles, sweepers and idents virtually. We can provide a broadcast quality AGK microphone and use Zoom, Google or Teams to host the workshop. Russell will work with your classroom sized group, (bigger groups are possible) throughout the day on their scripts. Then, about an hour before the end of school, we’ll broadcast a live show from your establishment via our Live Educational Radio Station LearnRadio.Net Nine out of 11 Projects we’ve recently hosted in Wales bought a radio station from us at the end of the project. We think that shows how much they valued the impact of our work and wanted to continue themselves.
Education Radio Equipment
Russell makes a stunning range of broadcasting kit for young folks of any age and ability to use. He’s been doing that since 2009 and 381 Schools have a station from us. Most Schools use their station every day, some broadcast World-wide and others embed its use into their classroom teaching. Some have playground speakers and broadcast at break-times. All have found an improvement is speaking and listening and all have reported improvements in confidence. Our equipment is so easy to use that everyone can use it, typically schools start broadcasting the same day the equipment arrives. We have stations for every budget and use, including studios that can be moved about your establishment whilst setup on a table.
LIVE Event Radio
We’re ON AIR 24 hrs with our unique range of programmes reflecting on the World of Learning and featuring LIVE Education Radio by Pupils & Students. We’re often at major education events reporting live and sharing the impact of that event. In 2019 we generated an audience of over 21.5 million listening hours though our work on several World-wide projects. During the various lockdowns since 2020, we’ve been broadcasting FREE Learning Shows and generating a live listening audience of over 1.2 million young people through our work with RadioBlogging and LearnRadio.

This is Russell’s latest design, created to meet the specific needs of a new customer, The HUB BROADCASTER PLUS comes with three microphones and a separate interview table for guests! The mixer has been enhanced. The black-oak legs look stunning and really standout as a lovely piece of furniture. The proper MIC LIVE sign makes all the difference is keeping the space quiet when mics are live.
