As I walked through the deep, dark wood the dry twigs cracked underfoot, the haunting hoot of an owl broke the silence and I felt the swish of a bat brushing past my head. I was admiring the beauty of the night. The worries of the day flowed out of my body like a cascading waterfall. As I breathed deeper and slower my lungs felt bigger and stronger. Like a statue tall and still, I watched the baby badger scurrying around natures playground without a care in the world. A colony of ants , ever so organised like tiny soldiers in a parade, marched past to find food. Here, so busy, yet so calm, I felt peace.
