In the forest

In the forest I looked around, spotting tall plants coloured in ever shade of green imaginable. Staring upwards I then noticed nests, full of bird’s eggs- dinner. Hungrily, I climbed as fast as the speed of light and ate them messily. Walking back to my straw hut, I caught some fish to keep for the next day.
After my sleep, I went back to the tree-covered forest. But then… ROAR! There was a saber-toothed tiger there. Scarily, it had noticed me and was chasing me. Even though I was fast it was quicker. Hoping I could outsmart it, I hid behind a bush.
Thinking it had forgotten about me (hours later) I stood up. To my horror, it was right there, waiting for me. Then, I felt extreme pain.
